WELCOME TO NATIONAL CANCERCON’26 |
Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro, is pleased to announce National CancerCon’26, a three-day multidisciplinary oncology conference dedicated to advancing comprehensive cancer care through innovation, accessibility, research and collaboration.
Under the theme “Transforming Cancer Care Through Innovation, Access & Collaboration,” National CancerCon’26 will bring together over 20 internationally renowned and distinguished speakers, alongside leading healthcare professionals, academicians, researchers, medical educators and postgraduate trainees from across Pakistan, to exchange knowledge, share clinical experiences and explore contemporary developments in oncology.
The conference is being organized with the collaboration and support of more than 10 professional and oncological societies and organizations, fostering interdisciplinary partnerships, academic collaboration and the advancement of cancer care in Pakistan.
National CancerCon’26 will address the cancer care continuum, encompassing surgical oncology, medical oncology, hematological malignancies, radiation oncology, precision medicine, diagnostics, psycho-oncology, palliative care, rehabilitation and survivorship. Through scientific exchange, professional development and collaborative research, the conference aims to promote evidence-based, accessible and patient-centered cancer care. |
Conference Objectives |
National CancerCon’26 aims to:

Conference Themes |
Section 1: Surgical Oncology Symposium
Subtheme: Achieving Excellence in Surgical Cancer Care
In collaboration with Surgical Oncology Society Pakistan, the opening day will focus on contemporary advances in surgical oncology, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, organ preservation, complex cancer surgery, perioperative care and surgical outcomes. The symposium will provide an academic platform for surgical oncologists and related specialists to discuss emerging surgical techniques, evidence-based practices and strategies for improving cancer surgery in Pakistan.
Section 2: Multimodal Cancer Care: Medical Oncology & Integrated Treatment
Subtheme: Advancing Accessible, Integrated & Precision Cancer Treatment
The section will highlight medical oncology, hematology and hemato-oncology, radiation oncology, precision medicine, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, molecular diagnostics, diagnostic and interventional radiology, and multidisciplinary cancer treatment. The focus will be on integrating contemporary diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to improve cancer outcomes.
Section 3: Beyond Treatment: Living With and Beyond Cancer
Subtheme: Promoting Equity, Well-Being, Survivorship & Quality of Life
This section will emphasize comprehensive and patient-centered cancer care, including psycho-oncology, palliative and supportive care, rehabilitation, survivorship, patient and caregiver support, quality of life, research, innovation and digital oncology. The programme will also address emerging models of cancer care and the importance of psychological, social and supportive interventions throughout the cancer journey. |
