Share Your Research at National CancerCon’26
National CancerCon’26 invites healthcare professionals, faculty members, researchers, postgraduate residents and students to submit their research for presentation at the conference.
Abstracts are invited from all relevant disciplines of cancer care, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, diagnostics, psycho-oncology, palliative care, rehabilitation, survivorship, research and innovation. Submissions may include original research, clinical studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, clinical audits, quality improvement projects, case series and innovative approaches to cancer care.
1. General Requirements
The submitted study must be original and unpublished. Abstracts should contain completed research findings; submissions stating only that results will be presented are not acceptable.
All abstracts will undergo scrutiny by the Scientific Review Committee. Selection for presentation will be based on scientific merit, methodological quality, relevance and compliance with submission guidelines. Selected abstracts will be allocated to dedicated scientific sessions.
2. Abstract Format
The abstract must not exceed 250 words, excluding the title, authors' details and keywords. It must be structured under the following headings:
Title:
Clear, concise and representative of the study.
Background:
Brief context and rationale for the study.
Objective:
Clearly state the study's objective.
Methodology:
Study design, setting, participants, methods and statistical
analysis, where applicable.
Results:
Present the principal findings, including relevant statistical results.
Conclusion:
Summarize the main findings and their clinical or scientific implications.
Keywords:
Provide 3–5 relevant keywords.
3. Authors' Information
The following information must accompany each abstract:
- Full names of all authors in the intended publication sequence.
- Institutional affiliation of each author, including department and institution.
- Name of the presenting author, clearly identified.
- Contact number and email address of the presenting author.
4. Submission Procedure
Abstracts must be in Word or PDF Format (doc., docx, pdf.) and must be submitted through email: cancercon@lumhs.edu.pk
