About Conference |
Since 2000, the year 2025 has emerged as the horizon toward which the world projects its aspirations to achieve the Quality Education, Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro, being the first public sector Medical University of the country, began to Initiate, participate and contribute at different forums to strengthen the standards of education.
Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro realizing the responsibility as public sector institution, regularly organizes national and international conferences, symposia’s, training programs and workshops, with an aim to provide a platform to institutions and individuals who have a stake in promoting quality in Education, where the latest trends quality in higher education were presented and discussed in a friendly environment to learn from each other.
In this context once again Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) Liaquat University of Medical & health Sciences, Jamshoro (LUMHS) is going to Organize its 2nd LUMHS Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education (QCON’25) with The Theme of Institutional Quality Assurance on 24th-25th June 2025. |
Objectives of the Conference |
- To bring together expert scientists, researchers, lecturers, and community development practitioners in a collaborative environment to present and discuss issues relating to Higher Education and Quality in our society
- To provide a forum for delegation from Academia to discuss strategies of institutionalizing educational engagement programs across country.
- To provide an opportunity for academic professionals to communicate and discuss problems of society and share solutions to deal with common problems and cooperate in research and implementation.
- To help by sharing experiences and lessons. This conference will also be essential to identify and recognize innovative practices that can be replicated to create the multiplier effect of solving problems, which impact on community.
- To highlight the essential contribution of Education for Sustainable Development to achieving quality in higher education
- To raise awareness among policy makers about proper means and standards for quality assurance systems and standards for accreditation in educational institutions.
- To explore international and regional cooperation for improved quality in education.
- To raise awareness about world standards and procedures necessary to obtain accreditation.
- To address challenges that hinder the implementation of quality assurance systems in education and discuss ways to overcome these challenges
- To identify trends and best practices for quality assurance in education and discuss cooperation venues to seek implementation
- Providing a forum in which education experts share perspectives and discuss trends and issues that affect higher education.
