Dr. Ghulam Murtaza Dayo did his graduation from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro, Pakistan, the then Liaquat Medical College, in 1987.

Dr. Dayo has about 30 years of experience in administration & management of health related medical institutions. He initially joined Government of Sindh, Health Department in March 11th, 1989 and served as a Senior Medical Officer General (Sr. RMO General) at Liaquat Medical College Hospital in Hyderabad and Jamshoro for about six years. Served as Medical Officer in district Thatta in School Health and district council dispensary Kharochan district Thatta for three years.

Dr. Dayo also served as demonstrator in former LMC (Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences) in the department of Medical Education for nine years. He was selected as a Hostel Provost in BPS 19 through selection board at LUMHS in August 2006.
Dr. Dayo was promoted through selection board in BPS 20 in January 2017.

Dr. Dayo was also assigned additional duties at former LMC/LUMHS as under:

• Student welfare officer December 2000 to July 2007
• Coordinator Monitoring of all non-teaching staff, December 2000 to July 2005
• Incharge sports, May 2001 to July 2007
• Chairman LUMHS Residential colony, April to August 2002
• Estate officer LUMHS, April 2003 to July 2007.
• Director Students Affairs, May 2008 to May 2011
• Incharge IT Recourse Lab at LUH Hyderabad, May 2011 to April 2012
• Administrator Peoples Nursing School, April 2012 to September 2012
• Currently Dr. Dayo is serving as Director Admissions (Undergraduates) at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro since September 4th, 2012 - Tii to date.
