THIS IS FOR INFORMATION OF ALL MBBS, BDS, BS NURSING, BS BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING,  DOCTOR OF PHYSIOTHRAPY &  DOCTOR OF PHARMACY  STUDENTS THAT THE CENTRAL LIBRARY WILL REMIN CLOSED DURING THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMZAN-UL-MUBARAK (1439 A.H).
THE CENTRAL Library timings are as following:

  1. MONDAY TO THURSDAY FROM 8:00 TO 2:00 PM. (WITHOUT ANY BREAK)
  2. FRIDAY FROM 8:00 A.M TO 1:00 PM (WITHOUT ANY BREAK)

            THE CENTRAL LIBRARY WILL REMAIN CLOSED ON SATURDAY SUNDAY, & OTHER PUBLIC HOLIDAYS DURING THIS HOLY MONTH.
AFTER THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMZAN-UL-MUBARAK THE CENTRAL LIBRARY OPEN AS PER SCHEDULE TIME & ALSO OPEN SATURDAY & SUNDAY & OTHER PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

Notice - May 14, 2018

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that, in accordance with the policy/ decision taken by the University Syndicate vide its Resolution No. Syn-16.13 (4) dated 24th October, 2008, all University non-teaching employees, who have completed their three years services on contract/honorarium equivalent in BPS-01 to BPS-16 on or before 15th MAY, 2016, are required to fill-in the prescribed Form in order to process/ initiate their cases for regularization of their services in this University.
The prescribed Form can be obtained from Human Resources Department and the same must be routed through proper channel bearing necessary comments/ recommendations by their respective Heads/ Incharge(s) should be submitted in HRD along with attested photocopies of documents (Residential/ Educational/ Experience Certificate/ CNIC/ Driving License) latest by 21 MAY, 2016.

Notification - May 09, 2018
On behalf of the Academic Council, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the teaching faculty members of MBBS / BDS Course of the University will avail Summer Vacation 2018 in First Half i.e. 14-05-2018 to 27-06-2018 or in second Half i.e. 28-06-2018 to 11-08-2018.
The faculty who have not completed one year of their services at this University; teachers appointed on contract basis and all In-services & Private Postgraduate students are not eligible to avail vacation.
The teaching staff of People’s Nursing School, Institute of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences, Institute of Biomedical Engineering & Technology and College of Pharmacy will avail Summer vacation as per their teaching and examination schedule as per University policy.
The Incharge of every teaching Department / Unit / Ward is advised to communicate to this office the name of the faculty members who intend to avail vacation either in first half or in second half, in the enclosed prescribed proforma.
The schedule of vacation once notified cannot be changed.
This issues with the approval by the Vice-Chancellor.

Circular - May 08, 2018
It has been observed that most of the private postgraduate students of various courses who have joined their government services at Health Department Government of Sindh and not submitted their posting/Deputation & joining letter at postgraduate medical centre, LUMHS Jamshoro are hereby advised to submit the said required documents at PGMC latest by 15.05.2018.
If any of the private candidate of academic session 2015 to 2018 have not joined government job are hereby advised to submit an application in this regards at postgraduate medical centre, LUMHS Jamshoro.

Circular - April 02, 2018
In accordance with the announcement by the Government of Sindh, vide Notification No.CTC (SGA&CD) 3(65)/2009, dated 29-03—2018, it is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the Liquate University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro will remain closed on Wednesday 04th April 2018 on account of “39th Martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto”.
The clinical faculty members will however perform emergency duty as per their duty roster.
This issue with the approval by the Vice-Chancellor.

Notification - March 28, 2018

It has noticed that various suppliers/vendors are facing enormous difficulties in receiving their Payments in due time, as a result various suppliers /vendors are reluctant to supply urgently sensational items required to various departments of LUMHS.
In view of this, it has been decided to streamline the working of the purchase and Store Section and simplify the procedure of submission of bills and Payments to vendors so the compliments of suppliers /vendors can be addressed in fair manner.
Henceforth following Procedure shall be strictly followed by purchase and Store Section and Finance Wing:

  • The purchase and Store Section shall prepare bills after completing all codal formalities without any delay and submit in finance Branch as soon as possible.
  • The Finance Wing shall prepare cheques after completing all codal formalities without any delay submit in Finance Branch as soon as possible.
  •  Prepared cheques shall be handed –Over to the purchase and Store Section for distribution among the suppliers/ various after making entry in payment register and submit to the Finance wing the receipt  duly signed by suppliers /vendor.
  • Purchase and Store Section shall maintain the separate register for handing-over cheques to the supplies and make available to Finance Wing at the time of yearly audit by the Audit Department.
  • In future no vendor shall directly approach Finance Wing for receiving their payment/cheque.
The issues by the order of component Authority for strict compliance.

All the Postgraduate students of M.D/M.S//M.Phil/M.P.H/MSN & M.Sc courses of this University are hereby informed that the Postgraduate Medical Centre, LUMHS Jamshoro is Organizing/ conducting the workshops on “Synopsis Writing “ and “Research Methodology” in the second week of April 2018. In this regard all the above said Postgraduate students are advised to get themselves registered at Postgraduate Medical Centre, LUMHS Jamshoro for the above said workshops Latest by 10.04.2018. The candidates will be accommodated on first come first serve basis.

Provisional Seniority List of non-gazzatted employees from BPS-1 to BPS-15, who are working in this on regular basis, is hereby circulated/displayed on the notice board of Registrar Office (Establishment Branch) for the purpose of inviting observations/objections, if any, so that seniority list be finalized in accordance with rules and regulations of this University.
All concerned employees are hereby advised to check the said list/ detail to record objections/observations, if any, at Establishment Branch, on or before 28th February 2018.
This issues with the approval by the Vice-Chancellor.

Circular - February 14, 2018

It has been circulated  for the information of all the concerned that the Vice-Chancellor/Competent Authority of this University has seriously observed regarding pending of official documents/correspondence in most of the offices/sections /departments of this University deliberately without knowing any reason.

In this connection, all the Chairmen/Chairperson/Incharges/Head of Departments/Directors/Officers are strictly directed to dispose–off all the necessary pending official documents/correspondence whatsoever  as deemed fit, to the concerned departments/sections in order to avoid any delay in smooth working under the intimation to this office, within a period of 07 days from the date of issuance of this Circular.

In case of failure/pending official documents/correspondence, the disciplinary action shall be initiated against the concerned Head of Departments In charge of the sub-offices.

The ex-employees of this University in BPS-1 to 16, who retired from University Service (after2001) on attaining the age of superannuation I.e. 60 years, are hereby advised to submit the Following documents for consideration of appointment in this University of their one
(1) Real son/ daughter against the vacant post of BPS-1 to BPS-07 Provided that the child Possesses the minimum qualification as Prescribed for appointment.
1. Application of retired employee
2. Retirement Order
3. An affidavit on court paper that no child of retired employees had previously been appointed / Working in this University.
4. Residential/ Education Documents
They are advised to submit the above said documents in the office of Registrar
(Establishment Branch) latest by 28th February 2018.
