Circular - February 14, 2017

It has been circulated  for the information of all the concerned that the Vice-Chancellor/Competent Authority of this University has seriously observed regarding pending of official documents/correspondence in most of the offices/sections /departments of this University deliberately without knowing any reason.

In this connection, all the Chairmen/Chairperson/Incharges/Head of Departments/Directors/Officers are strictly directed to dispose–off all the necessary pending official documents/correspondence whatsoever  as deemed fit, to the concerned departments/sections in order to avoid any delay in smooth working under the intimation to this office, within a period of 07 days from the date of issuance of this Circular.

In case of failure/pending official documents/correspondence, the disciplinary action shall be initiated against the concerned Head of Departments In charge of the sub-offices.

The ex-employees of this University in BPS-1 to 16, who retired from University Service (after2001) on attaining the age of superannuation I.e. 60 years, are hereby advised to submit the Following documents for consideration of appointment in this University of their one
(1) Real son/ daughter against the vacant post of BPS-1 to BPS-07 Provided that the child Possesses the minimum qualification as Prescribed for appointment.
1. Application of retired employee
2. Retirement Order
3. An affidavit on court paper that no child of retired employees had previously been appointed / Working in this University.
4. Residential/ Education Documents
They are advised to submit the above said documents in the office of Registrar
(Establishment Branch) latest by 28th February 2018.

Notification - December 26, 2017

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that in accordance with the announcement by the Government of Sindh, vide Notification No.SO.CTC(SGA&CD)6(74)/2011, dated 26-12-2017, it is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro will remain closed on Wednesday 27th December 2017 on the occasion of “Shahadat of Mohtrama Benazir Bhutto Shaheed”.

The clinical faculty members will however perform emergency duty as per their duty roster.

It is hereby circulated for the Information of all concerned that the Honorable Vice Chancellor has taken a very serious view regarding submission of correspondence without proper channel. Therefore, to all the faculty members/officers/officials of this University are hereby strictly directed to process their correspondence through their Chairman/Chairperson/Director/Incharge/Head of Departments/Officers, failing which their application will not be entertained.

Notification - December 22, 2017

On behalf  of the Academic council it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the teaching faculty teaching faculty members of MBBS/BDS/courses of the University will avail Winter Vacation 2017 in First Half i.e. 25-12-2017 to 31-12-2017 or in Second Half i.e. 01-01-2018 to 07-01-2018.

The faculty members who have not completed one year of their service at this University; teachers appointed on contract basis and all In-service & private postgraduate students are not eligible to avail vacation.
The teaching staff of people’s Nursing School, Institute of physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences and Institute of Biomedical Engineering & Technology will avail Winter Vacation as per their teaching and examination schedule as per university policy.

The Incharge of every teaching Department/Unit/Ward is advised to communicate to this office the name of faculty members who intend to avail vacation either in first half or in second half, in the enclosed prescribed proforma. The schedule of vacation once notified can not be changed.

All non-gazzatted regular employees of this University of BPS-1-BPS-16 are hereby informed that upon the request of LUSWA. an amount of Rs.30/-(Rupees Thirty) shall be deducted from the salary of above employees on account of Union Fund.

                        All those employees who do not wish to participate in above scheme, must inform the Registrar’s Office (Establishment Branch) of this University in writing within 10 days, that no deduction should be made from their salary.

It has been observed by the undersigned that most of Departments including Clinical/Basic and Dental are usually being sealed/closed under lock & key after & key after 12:30pm on every Friday and in routine days most probably at 02:30 pm.

The undersigned issued the Notification. Vide No.LUMHS/ESTT/(EI)/20590/97, dated 21-06-2017 in which the official timing from Monday to Friday has been clearly mentioned 08:00am to 03:00pm (on Friday 01:15pm to 02:00pm Prayer Break), in accordance with the resolution No.yn-31.SUP-1 Passed by the Syndicate of this University in its 31st meeting held on 08-05-2012.

The Vigilance Committee has been constituted which will make surprise visits on –and –off, if any one will be found absent during the said timing, will be treated absent from duties and deduction of their salary will be done.

Staff point /buss for those teaching /non-teaching staff of this University, who are not getting conveyance allowance, will leave at 03: 00pm daily.

All Deans, Directors, Chairmen/Chairpersons, faculty members, University Officers/officials and Para Medical/ Supporting Stuff are advised to wear collar National Flag And attend this official ceremony.

The University busses will leave Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad for Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro at 08:15 am on 14-08-2017.
