Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly and with minimal support and guidance; effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff; ability to work productively in teams; good problem solver; minimum GPA of 3.0. candidates with MSCE and CCNA will have an advantage. Experience At least 3 years (Master) or 5 years (Bachelor) post qualification experience, well versed with the functionality and trouble shooting of LAN / WAN, VPN, full Microsoft OS series (Internet security & acceleration server), exchange server, host integration server etc), Linux, Unix with Samba, squid apache, data base like SQL, Orcle, DB2 & work flow applications like IBM suites. Installation / configuration of routers, switches and proxy setups etc.	Responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of Windows / UNIX servers and systems; expected to conduct system analysis development, with limited support and direction from professional staff, to keep our systems current with changing technologies; maintains office machines and educates all staff in the use of the Windows / UNIX platform, both as a server and client operating system. Responsible for installation, configuration, management and troubleshooting of systems and related networks; Responsible for planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the computer systems and application; Provide advice, assistance management support and administration on his / her area of responsibility; develop user guides and arrange fundamental training sessions for the network users of LUMHS.	35 years

Proven recod of network infrastructure installation / configuration as team leader is must. Ability to address computer and automation issues from conceptualization to implementation, operation and continued management stages is essential. Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly and with minimal support and guidance; effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff; ability to work productively in teams; good problem solver; minimum GPA of 3.0. candidates with MSCE and CCNA will have an advantage. The above positions are temporary and are likely to be regularized.
Candidates possessing the educational qualification and fulfilling the conditions laid down as above should apply in duplicate on the prescribed application form obtainable from the office of the Registrar LUMHS, Jamshoro on payment of Rs. 500/- for each form through a challan payable in National Bank of Pakistan LUMHS Branch Jamshoro, or Pay order / Bank Draft applicant already in-service should apply through proper channel. However a copy in advance may be submitted within due date.
Number of vacancies can be increased or decreased. No TA / DA will be paid on appearing in interview. Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience of working in Medical University. Application on prescribed form with full particulars along with attested photocopies of Certificates, Degrees from Matriculation onward should reach the undersigned on or before 20-12-2003.
